LOVE, ISAAC

SCROLL DOWN

LOVE, ISAAC

Our Story ...

Losing Isaac forever changed us. Our hearts will never be the same. Saying goodbye to our son, our 3rd baby, broke our hearts in ways that only others who have experienced this type of loss can understand.

In the weeks following Isaac's loss, we continued to grieve. We dreaded my May due date (which also happened to be my birthday) and we grieved each “should be” first. Even though our hearts were broken, our mantra became “choose joy.” After all, we truly did believe we would see Isaac again in heaven and we had two children to hold on to and love here on earth. Amidst our pain and sadness, we knew we didn’t want grief to steal anything else—to waste this life that we had been blessed with. Because of this we decided we needed to do something for other families that would be thrown onto their own unwanted path of loss and grief.

Out of this pain and grief, the idea of Love, Isaac was born.

Our Isaac bears have given us something to hold onto when we've had to let go of the thing we've wanted to hold onto the most and we hope they will do the same for others.

Love, Issac Bear

Isaac would love these bears. This is what we wanted, something to hold onto, something to feel connected to our son.  The Isaac bear represents hope for all the families who have lost a son during they year.

Love, Makenna Elephant

Elephants are funny animals. Its ok to smile and laugh even when times are hard.  We thought the giant pink ears were a perfect match for Makenna and would remind us that even the silliest of things have a designed purpose 😊
